Biography

Irvine Leonard

Mr. Irvine Leonard has been the Coordinator of Construction/Industrial Applied Technology programs since 2006. Mr. Leonard brings a world of practical and professional experience to the College. He completed a five year apprenticeship program through the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 592, Tallahassee, Florida in 1976. Additionally, he earned his Journeyman's Plumbing License in 1976 and has 30 years experience in the plumbing and pipefitting trade as well as training apprentices and other students.
Mr. Leonard was the Apprenticeship Coordinator and Business Manager for Local 592 from 1992-2004. He attended Tallahassee Community College and has completed numerous professional development courses and workshops.


Josh Adams

Mr. Josh Adams, Logistics Coordinator and Data Collector for the Construction/Industrial Applied Technology programs is a state certified residential contractor in both Florida and Georgia. He has over 10 years experience in residential construction and remodeling.
Mr. Adams has completed numerous professional development courses and is currently attending Tallahassee Community College.


Al Herndon

Mr. Al Herndon brings a wealth of experience to the project. Al has been a Regional Apprenticeship Representative for the Florida Masonry Apprentice and Educational Foundation (FMAEF) since 1999. He became a Journeyman Stereotyper Platemaker in 1977.
Mr. Herndon serves on numerous masonry and workforce committees at the state and national level. He is a National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Certified Master Trainer. He attended Florida Community College at Jacksonville and has completed numerous professional development courses and workshops.
